First thing that I notice is that I don't know what PBIS is. Please define. Everything else looks good in theory. I know that something like constantly needs tweaked. Good Luck!
ReplyDeletePBIS = Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
DeleteThanks for the comment!
When was PBIS implemented in your school? I like that you are thinking ahead to have staff development in place for the 2015 SY. We are implementing PBIS in the fall. I hope we have people in place with a plan as good as yours is. Looking forward to hear how things go.
ReplyDeleteOur district is in year 3 of the district wide initiative, but some campuses are still struggling. PBIS is awesome when implemented correctly. I hope to help a struggling campus with my project. Thanks for your comment!
DeleteI also do not know what PBIS is. It sounds like maybe some type of discipline policy. Are the special ed student your focus group?
ReplyDeleteI also am not familiar with PBIS, so I am having difficulty understanding what your research plan is. My question is similar to Christina's, will all students be apart of your plan? Are students in the special ed umbrella apart of your plan?
ReplyDeletePBIS is Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. It is a district wide initiative here. Some campuses are struggling more than others, so I decided to try to help a struggling one. My group will be current year 7th graders...I will follow them through 8th grrade. While I am analyzing data, I will disaggregate data for our sp ed students in the group. Thanks for your comment!
